Carolyn Pelissero Moretti

Carolyn grew up in Skokie, Illinois before attending Marquette University where she studied broadcasting and marketing. She moved back to the city and began her career in the restaurant business, where she was a hostess and server while interning at a local PR firm, Dome Communications. Pelissero fell in love with the restaurant industry and combined her passion for marketing and restaurants as the Director of Marketing for Phil Stefani Restaurants where she oversaw all marketing efforts for over 20 restaurants and event spaces. Later, Pelissero worked in the marketing department at Chicago magazine before joining the non-for-profit and event company, Gen Art as their regional director of marketing. As an avid Chicago enthusiast, Pelissero wanted the opportunity to work with an array of companies that make this city fantastic and created Boldface Co. in 2008.
